- Take I-20 East
- Exit at mile marker 397, FM 1189
- Proceed south on FM 1189, across the Brazos River

From Granbury:
- [Note: On the Square in Granbury, Hwy 51 and FM 4 are same road]
- Heading north from the square, go 4/10 of a mile to where FM 4 splits
- Stay left on FM 4 heading west toward Lipan; travel 14.4 miles
- Turn right on FM 1543
- Proceed 1.4 miles to junction of FM 4 and FM 1189, staying right
- Continue north on FM 1189, going 7.8 miles
