Description

Great Smoky Mountains where the community offers a private
sanctuary on historic Watts Bar Lake. Homesites are accented by
a broad selection of premium amenities, architectural styles and
community activities.

The original site, Matlock Bend, has been kept in its natural
state even as surrounding parcels yielded to development. With
roots as a century-old dairy farm, Matlock Bend sits on a
storied 3.5-mile stretch of the Tennessee River and enjoys four
distinct yet temperate seasons.
Greg Norman’s Distinct Signature
Tennessee National is blessed with geography for golf. Working
with the landscape's natural features, Greg Norman has routed
his Signature Course through lush valleys and wooded settings.

The golf course winds around a natural setting.
The private Greg Norman Signature Golf Course offers its members
challenging play and a beautiful backdrop complemented by a
luxurious, full-service clubhouse, pro shop, driving range and
additional practice facilities.

Designer Greg Norman takes aim on the 12th hole.
"In addition to two holes directly on the water, views of the
valleys and surrounding hills provide the course with character
and distinction,” says Norman. Five holes play toward and along
a graceful bend of the Tennessee River.
Medallist Developments, a joint venture between Greg Norman’s
Great White Shark Enterprises and Macquarie Bank of Australia,
has developed the 1,450 acres that is Tennessee National.

Relaxing on Land or Water
Tennessee National’s planned Marina and Waterside Village
(pending regulatory approvals) will
further distinguish the community. Access to Watts Bar Lake’s

acres, ideal for boating, fishing, sailing or water skiing.

Surrounded by condominiums and townhouses, the planned Marina
and Waterside Village will be a bustling hub of activity.
Boaters will enjoy their own private wet slips along with the
added convenience of complete fuel and maintenance services.

About the Area
Knoxville's roots run deep and strong. The city has served as a
regional hub since its founding in 1791 and today represents the
best of its Appalachian heritage—gracious hospitality,
family-centered community and respect for the natural beauty of
the region.
Knoxville offers small-city culture and entertainment, a wealth
of dining choices and first-rate health care. The University of
Tennessee is a dynamic hub of learning, sports and culture.
With no state income tax and low property taxes, Tennessee has
become a top relocation and retirement destination. The
Knoxville area was recently ranked the best place to live in the
United States second only to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina in
the Southeast.*
The Knoxville area was ranked above the 80th percentile in the
areas of cost of living, job opportunity, education, health care
and recreation. Knoxville's overall score of 72.74 came in just
two points behind Denver. Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill was the
only other Southeast city to rank higher.
